Day 16

Let's just say it's Day 16 and not Day whatever...

This has been so hard, I can't believe it.

SO, TODAY...
I am grateful for a well paying job. It was a lousy work day, but I'm grateful I got paid for it!

I love my salon, I love talking with the ladies there.  I feel like I'm in a sitcom while I get my nails done. So, I'm thankful for Moore's Hair Design.

I'm grateful that Conan is back on the air! I've laughed so much tonight!

Day 15

Wednesday...

Glad I am bringing my breakfast and trying something new...need to work on willpower.

Thankful I am still sticking with Spanish, found a new site to study from today and made flashcards.

Grateful for a fun evening out at the theatre.  They did a really great job with "Wait Until Dark" and we had a good time. (grateful for scotch, once again, delicious!)

And sooo glad I started reading "Pillars of the Earth"!  What took me so long to pick it up? I don't want to put it down.

Day 14

Tuesday...

I need to be more on the ball with this!

Grateful that I finally went to a volleyball game this year.  I like it so much! The Washburn Lady Blues are an awesome team and I am so glad that I'm a fan!

Glad Brenda went out with us afta the game.  Didn't think she was, but then she did and we were happy.

And glad I could read a little before bed, I really enjoy that.

Day 13

Monday...

Can I be grateful again for a jeans day? Well, I am. I love that we have jeans days on Mondays and Fridays.

Glad I tried something new and made stuffed acorn squash for dinner. Doubly glad that John seemed to like it!

Blurg. This is all I've got...oh, grateful for that extra blanket we put on the bed!

Day 12

Sunday...

Glad I woke up early and headed straight to the store, it felt good to have that done and out of the way.

And thankful for some quiet time with John...sometimes I feel like we've got too much going on.

Broke out my big, turquoise cast iron pot and made a big batch of chili.  That turquoise pot makes me happy!  I still remember the day I bought it.

Grateful for a crisp, cool evening...perfect for sitting on the porch and handing out candy.

Lastly, I'm so glad I stuck it out with my scotch training.  I am really enjoying my scotch and water! It's true.
